The Voice is a Second Face...
At times I forget that I am a more than the voice that this page brings forward. I am a person who has recently been giving tips for work-life balance, and yet I feel as though the things I say completely lose their credential if people don't get to know the human behind the thoughts. The style of my blog tends to be very conversational and inviting, as if we're having a coffee or called each other on the phone. You wouldn't do something like that with a total stranger. I sprinkle so much of myself into these blogs like hidden whispers and easter eggs, but the truth is I want people to be able to connect this stranger to a face and to a person. I have things I love, things I care about, and things I do outside of work. Here is my not-so-formal get to know me (which you can also see on my instagram @jenniferbeckphotography ;))
About me
1| I'm a mom to four kids, a dog, and a cat. They are what I consider to be my 'why'. The reason I love job with it's flexibility to allow me to always show up for them.
2| I have 13 years of experience in photography, and I am self-taught!
3| Sunsets are my favorite and specialty, and I feel like I'm always seeking out when I can see the next one. Thus my love for sunset photography and golden hour ☀️
4| I am a huge baseball fan! So much of my summer is spent at baseball games for my son, but even then I can't get enough. I love going to twins games with my family and friends.
5| I love an outdoor adventure. Walks, enjoying nature, and seeing what the world has to offer.
My Favorite Things
1| Cabin time with my family. We make it a point to go up north as much as we can, especially during the summer. Nothing beats spending time on the lake and boating.
2| Photographing growing families. A good thing I'm in this profession because this is truly my passion and calling! Forever blessed to have been given such a career.
3| Growing my skills through education classes. While I am 'self-taught', that doesn't mean I don' also seek out things to supplement my skills. It's so important to invest in yourself and business, especially when it's something you love!
4| DIY projects. Whether it be for my home or my work I love creating new things by hand!
5| Sunflowers are some of my favorite flowers. It's also why you see so many of those sessions on my page.
6| Coffee. I could go on and on about my favorite drinks and brews, but I promise this blog would be ten times longer!
My promise and mission is to deliver beautiful moments that you will always be able to cherish. i want to be the hand that helps you turn your memories form something of the past to forever.
