Family sessions are carefully planned from the date they choose, time, and location to outfits and accessories. I like to capture families about 60-90 minutes before sunset time to get that amazing lighting. I offer a what to wear guide with suggestions to coordinate family’s outfits and session vibe with their lifestyle, and I'm there every step of the way for planning as needed. I try to keep props outdoors limited to a small chair or crate and blanket. I mostly use nature scenery, sunlight, and the clients interactions to get those amazing family photos.

Senior sessions are carefully planned from the date they choose, time, and location to outfits and accessories. I like to capture all of my outdoor sessions in the evenings. For seniors we use the accessories they bring and backgrounds on location. You should enjoy your experience with your senior portraits. We are never rushed for these, so they are stress free, fun & relaxed!! If you feel nervous bring your best friend to help make you smile and laugh!!

DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
All newborn sessions take place in my private studio located downtown Anoka! The cost of my studio is included in the session price!
DO YOU PROVIDE PROPS AND OUTFITS FOR SESSIONS?
Yes I provide all props and outfits for the newborn and milestone sessions. For newborn the parents are in charge of diapers, wipes and food for the baby. For milestone sessions I have a small wardrobe available that fits babies 6-18 month in size. As far as props, I have a great selection available. If there are any special requests i do require this information to be given well in advance of the session. I do allow outside small keepsakes if you want something special incorporated into the session but it needs to be limited in size, and safe to use.
WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO ORDER PRINTS?
I deliver all galleries digitally and have an easy option to purchase right from the online gallery!
HOW FAR OUT DO YOU RECOMMEND BOOKING OUR SESSION WITH YOU?
Fall time for family books is typically a few weeks after I release my schedule in July. I always say be safe than sorry. I recommend studio sessions 4-6 weeks out and family sessions as soon as you know you are wanting to book, especially on the weekends i typically book those out 6-8 weeks.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET OUR PHOTOS BACK AFTER THE SESSION?
I post previews within a week, and a full edited session is sent within 2-3 weeks via digitally.
